Davis is a legend in the UAV drone community. His flight through a Newfoundland iceberg astounded and inspired drone pilots worldwide.
Air-Vid is delighted to have sponsored Davis at the North American FPV Meet for 2014. A Dash 8 pilot by day, Ben uses prefers large screen monitors (complements of BuffyTheSaint) and FPV goggles when flying his fixed wing drone.
“It feels like a real cockpit experience.”
Ben’s dramatic flying style awed crowds who could fly along side with Buffy’s video downlink on a full screen monitor.
We hope you enjoy the gallery of images. Review his awesome chilling iceberg flight here.

Great write up Patrick but there is a small discrepancy in what Mr Davis was using at the Collingwood meet. Ben has never used a screen before the meet. He always did goggle flights. He wasn’t able to bring his ground station and he one in your pictures at the monitor set up belongs to TBRC member Buffythesaint. Just a little information to correct the story.
